Rachel said ‘I chose to run for Diabetes UK as my 15-year-old nephew has Type 1 diabetes.' Diabetes UK is the leading charity working for people with diabetes, funding research and helping people live with the condition. Its mission is to improve the lives of people with diabetes and to work towards a future without diabetes. Ponte Comm generously sponsored sales support co-ordinator Rachel with £150.00 towards her target. George Collins, MD said ‘We are happy to sponsor Rachel for this good cause.' |

Aiming to better last year's time of 5.02, Rachel finished the race in 4.41 - a great achievement especially considering the very hot conditions.
